How much do you charge for a service call?
This comes down to a couple of factors:

Does all electrical work have to be certified?
Not all electrical work needs to be certified. But a lot of the work we complete will be certified and all of our work is completed to the latest electrical regulations.
How often should electrics be checked?
It is advised in private properties every 5-10 years, depending on the date stated by the last electrical inspector of the property on your certification. Private rented properties, it is now law to have an EICR (electrical check) at least every 5 years.
Can electrician sign off their own work?
Only if they are affiliated with an electrical representing body. Here at NSN Electrical we have a 20years affiliation with NAPIT – One of the top electrical governing bodies.
